PROJECT CHALLENGE
Enviro-Clean have worked with Clancy Dowcra for the past seven years, providing reactive and planned R&M services for Scottish Water. As part of this contract, we use our bespoke scheduling system, TeamLeaf, in conjunction with having access to Clancy’s own system where we receive job instructions, update site times, provide real-time updates and copies of any reports. Enviro-Clean are frequently tasked to carry out an initial survey and recommend remedial action.
SERVICE DELIVERED
In one project with Clancy, we initially attended the site to perform CCTV and Vactor work, identifying roots obstructing the line. Traditionally, this would have required multiple visits: one for root cutting, another for identifying areas needing repairs, and a final visit to install patch repairs. This multi-step process could cause significant inconvenience for the client, the public, and surrounding businesses.
To minimise disruption, we collaborated with Clancy and outfitted our CCTV Survey Van with all necessary equipment, including a root cutter (Robot/Picote). This allowed us to carry out the root cutting, survey, and patch repair installation during a single visit. By receiving authorisation on-site to proceed through all stages, we reduced downtime and simplified the process for all involved, minimising the need for traffic management and reducing overall inconvenience.
